Junior Solutions Engineer - Telecommunications

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team at Adtran. As a Junior Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Pre-Sales team, focusing on optical transmission technology. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where innovation drives our success. What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive technical pre-sales support with a focus on optical transmission technology for Adtran's sales in the DACH region.
• Collaborate closely with regional Solution Engineering teams and Global Network Consulting to develop tailored optical network solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements and create customized technical solutions.
• Prepare technical offers and designs for optical transport networks.
• Conduct customer-specific presentations and workshops to showcase our solutions.
• Support customer projects from initial inquiry to final proposal phase.
• Contribute to product development by actively incorporating customer feedback.

Requirements

• A degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent, results-oriented work style with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex issues into practical solutions.
• Some experience in telecommunications and planning optical networks with network operators, data centers, and telecommunications equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
