We are seeking a Seasonal Stewarding Manager to join our prestigious team at the Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz. As a Seasonal Stewarding Manager, you will oversee the operational and administrative aspects of the stewarding department, ensuring that our high standards are met consistently. What You'll Do

• Manage the administrative and operational functions of the stewarding department.
• Supervise a team of 4 to 10 staff members, adapting to seasonal fluctuations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while managing costs and inventory.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to maintain service excellence.
• Conduct training and development for team members to enhance their skills.
• Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and uphold the hotel's standards and policies.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during service.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant setting.
• Educational background in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or Tourism (BAC+2 preferred).
• Strong managerial and leadership skills.
• Fluent in both English and French; proficiency in another language is a plus.
• Ability to manage costs and maintain inventory effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service and care.
• Experience working with diverse teams and adapting to various situations.
