Junior Safety Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Safety Technician to join Grupo Marco, a company dedicated to transforming the environment through construction, public works, mining, and industry. As a Junior Safety Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our mission of excellence and safety.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate risks associated with various job positions to ensure a safe working environment.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to control and reduce workplace injuries.
• Advise on production safety measures and select appropriate collective protective equipment.
• Plan and conduct safety inspections, identifying risk situations and implementing preventive measures.
• Identify, control, and distribute necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for each job role.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop Safety and Environmental Plans (PACMA) to enhance workplace safety.
• Monitor machinery to ensure it meets safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Higher technical training or intermediate technician in Prevention, Quality, and Environment.
• Desirable experience working on-site in construction or related fields.
• Residence in the Huelva area is valued.

Nice to Have

• Experience with safety management systems.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Certifications in safety training.
