Junior Medical Communication Manager - Oncology (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Medical Communication Manager to join our Oncology team at Amgen. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative therapies for serious diseases, particularly in oncology. You will work closely with medical advisors and communication teams to enhance patient care through effective communication strategies.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement innovative medical events with a multichannel strategy.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate the impact of these events.
• Prepare for and participate in seminars related to our products and training sessions.
• Manage cross-departmental projects, collaborating with Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Compliance, and Legal teams.
• Assess resource needs and utilize them effectively to support project goals.
• Coordinate your work with others to avoid conflicts and redundancies.
• Support the Medical Communication team in various projects, including competitive intelligence and non-promotional documents.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bac+4/5/6 degree in a scientific field (pharmacy or equivalent in health sector).
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in creating scientific communications for national and international congresses (posters, abstracts, articles).
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Experience in planning and organizing research programs or specific research projects.
• Detail-oriented, creative, proactive, and a strong team player with a keen interest in scientific and digital fields.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship or experience in medical communications or related fields.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of the oncology landscape and current trends in cancer treatment.
