Junior Frontend Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will implement pixel-accurate UI from design specifications using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React. What You'll Do

• Implement responsive, mobile-first layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
• Connect UI components to backend services by consuming RESTful APIs and managing client-side state effectively.
• Write unit and integration tests for UI components to maintain high code quality through consistent code reviews and Git workflows.
• Apply accessibility best practices (WCAG basics) and semantic markup for improved performance and faster load times.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in an Agile environment to iterate quickly and deliver customer-facing features.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
• Experience with responsive design and Git for version control.
• Interest in remote work opportunities and the ability to communicate effectively across time zones.
• A degree, diploma, or coding-bootcamp certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• A portfolio or GitHub showcasing responsive web projects or production-like prototypes.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with TypeScript and Redux.
