Junior Audio Programmer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Junior Audio Programmer to join our team at Techland, one of the largest video game companies in Poland. This Junior Audio Programmer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team dedicated to creating unforgettable gaming experiences.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the audio team to design, implement, and optimize audio game systems and features.
• Work closely with the engine team to extend and optimize audio pipelines.
• Develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality in audio production.
• Create implementation plans and time estimates for tasks related to audio programming.
• Support and instruct audio designers on utilizing our tools effectively for optimal results.
• Adhere to team coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality code.
• Document your work and maintain clear documentation in your areas of responsibility.

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of C++ programming.
• Understanding of multi-threaded programming concepts.
• Good math skills to support audio programming tasks.
• Familiarity with sound implementation in games.
• Ability to read and understand an existing codebase.
• Passion for creating games and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in project requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a good command of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on multiple gaming platforms.
• Familiarity with audio middleware such as WWise or FMOD.
