Reservations Manager - Luxury Hotel Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservations Manager to join our team at Trump International Doonbeg. This Reservations Manager remote position will allow you to manage and oversee the reservations department, ensuring smooth operations and maximum revenue generation.

What You'll Do

• Plan, manage, and control the daily operations of the reservations department.
• Ensure efficient and prompt reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue.
• Monitor and coordinate group reservations in collaboration with the Revenue Manager.
• Manage guest details through “The Chase” system, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
• Liaise with housekeeping to maintain up-to-date inventory prior to guest arrivals.
• Work closely with the Revenue Manager to meet budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with owner and member bookings as required.
• Review no-shows and cancellations, processing charges according to hotel policy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a reservations supervisor or similar role in the 4/5-star market.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud systems is advantageous.
• Experience in managing guest issues and providing training to new employees.
