Junior Accounting Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Accounting Technician to join our team at Jungle. This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about numbers and organization. As a Junior Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. What You'll Do

• Daily updating of accounting records including invoices, transactions, and bank movements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Review accounting entries, accruals, and provisions to ensure accuracy.
• Support in tax declarations, particularly in SII environments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Provide administrative support to the department, including document management and basic email and call handling.

Requirements

• Education in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, or equivalent vocational training.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting tools (experience with SAGE is a plus).
• Attention to detail, agility, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
