About the Role

We are seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to join our team at Zertus UK & Ireland. This IT Service Desk Technician remote position involves providing first-line IT support across our group, ensuring that user support requests are handled efficiently and effectively. You will be the first point of contact for users, assisting them with their IT needs and ensuring a seamless experience.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the first point of contact for users seeking IT support.
  • Process incidents and service request tickets using our internal ticketing system.
  • Manage purchasing and asset management of IT equipment.
  • Identify patterns and recurring issues, updating knowledgebase articles accordingly.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to colleagues and users.
  • Diagnose technical issues and escalate when necessary.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a service role, preferably in IT support.
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of how systems integrate.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Windows.

Nice to Have

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in an IT-related subject.
  • Experience with Service Management systems (ITSM).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory Management and Apple Mac systems.
