IT Manufacturing Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manufacturing Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will lead technology operations at our flagship North American facility, ensuring the stability and compliance of mission-critical IT environments that support 24/7 production. As an IT Manufacturing Manager, you will play a crucial role in aligning IT solutions with business priorities and driving operational success.

What You'll Do

• Direct and guide production support teams, project deployment teams, and offshore development teams.
• Maintain and oversee manufacturing applications and critical IT environments to ensure continuous plant operations.
• Partner closely with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and corporate IT leaders to align priorities.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract resource onboarding.
• Deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead strategic planning sessions with business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, ITAR, DFARS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Inspire teams to generate new ideas that improve IT and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5–7 years in IT leadership or IT Manufacturing roles.
• Strong technical skills in COBOL, SQL/PLSQL, and database query tools.
• Experience with VB.Net, C#, Java, or C.
• Familiarity with manufacturing IT systems, including HR-related modules.
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
• Strong leadership, communication, and business process knowledge within manufacturing.
