About the Role

Chowder is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our dynamic team remotely. As an IT Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing our technological infrastructure and leading a high-performing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Chief Technology Officer to drive the next phase of our growth in the financial technology sector.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive support.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of critical systems, including the Zoho ecosystem and AWS serverless integrations.
• Ensure operational excellence by establishing credibility with internal and external teams, delivering outcome-focused solutions.
• Code and lead major projects, ensuring timely delivery and minimal production issues.
• Create comprehensive documentation and flow diagrams for business processes, ensuring accessibility for internal teams and partners.

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven experience in software development and IT management.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native platforms and product development.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AWS tools and Zoho applications.
• Proficiency in modern scripting frameworks such as React, Angular, and Typescript.

Nice to Have

• Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Trello.
• Familiarity with interface design tools, particularly Figma.
