Health and Safety Expert - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Expert to join our team remotely. In this role, you will take on significant responsibilities in preventing workplace accidents and contributing to the health and safety of the public during work and leisure. As a Health and Safety Expert, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a stable and modern environment.

What You'll Do

• Advise and monitor companies insured by Suva regarding health and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical expertise on occupational diseases and workplace accidents.
• Engage in interdisciplinary projects, particularly focusing on asbestos-related issues.
• Contribute to information resources aimed at preventing occupational diseases.
• Conduct lectures and training sessions as needed.

Requirements

• A degree in natural sciences or engineering.
• Several years of experience in an industrial setting or in the field of building materials.
• A completed training in health and safety or willingness to undertake such training.
• Strong communication skills in German (native level); knowledge of French and Italian is a significant plus.
• A proactive approach and the ability to contribute ideas to the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in conducting safety audits.
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
