Compliance Auditor - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Auditor to join our team at Sofina Foods. This remote Compliance Auditor role is vital within our Site Technical team, where you will collaborate closely with Production Management to enhance good manufacturing practices, food quality, and safety. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and improving the highest standards of food safety for our products and processes.

What You'll Do

• Act as the Audit Ready Champion for product quality and food safety standards, ensuring hygiene procedures are strictly followed.
• Improve compliance principles in alignment with legislative requirements, food industry standards, and customer codes of practice.
• Conduct routine calibrations as defined in the Sofina Malton Quality Manual.
• Perform day-to-day compliance auditing of the site.
• Assist in identifying and resolving External/Internal Audit Non-conformance corrective actions.
• Monitor production processes and drive adherence to factory standards.
• Ensure compliance with all hygiene standards, including appropriate clothing and Personal Protective Equipment.
• Accurately complete all traceability documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to quality standards on the production line.
• Perform verification audits as required within the Sofina Malton Quality Manual.

Requirements

• FMCG industry experience is essential.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Determined and resilient, with a strong drive to complete tasks.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to influence solutions.
• Proven relationship-building skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with compliance auditing in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Certification in quality management systems.
