In this internship, you will be part of a highly motivated, interdisciplinary engineering team from day one.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement new ventilation methods.
• Design and build prototypes of innovative medical sensors.
• Conduct tests and trials in patient monitoring and ventilation as part of the preliminary development.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary with various departments and our external partners.
• Gain deep insights into the development work and various disciplines of medical technology development.

Requirements

• Student (m/f/d) in engineering (medical technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or a similar field) from the 5th semester onwards.
• Basic knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Matlab, Python, LabVIEW).
• Ideally, some experience in areas such as data collection and processing, machine learning, measurement technology, medical device technology, electronics, fluid mechanics, algorithms, and programming.
• Structured, independent, and communicative working style.
• Very good German or English language skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations.
