About the Role

Join Bosch as an intern in Automation for Operational Logistics and contribute to shaping the future with innovative technologies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on the complete implementation of automated transport systems, enhancing logistics processes while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Support the introduction of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) for transporting ground rollers.
• Plan, procure, and construct material storage locations for the deployment of AGVs.
• Configure vehicles, charging stations, storage locations, and routes in the software system to activate the AGV fleet.
• Conduct driving tests to ensure smooth operation of new automated processes.
• Collaborate with production and manufacturers to identify weaknesses and continuously improve the system.
• Independently plan and implement optimization ideas, such as creating RFID Kanban for automatic material ordering.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of our automated transport systems.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Ideally, prior experience in logistics or automation.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to contribute to projects.
• Friendly and confident demeanor, both in team settings and when interacting with external partners.
• High motivation to learn new topics and find solutions, valuing collaboration with colleagues.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated systems or logistics software.
• Familiarity with KPI monitoring and analysis.
• Knowledge of RFID technology.
