International Sales Engineer - Remote Position at Motorola Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking an International Sales Engineer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. This remote position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer engagement. As an International Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored solutions to our customers, ensuring their needs are met with our advanced wireless communication technologies.

What You'll Do

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system planning and customer training.
• Become an expert on Silvus' unique radio and networking solutions, showcasing their advantages over competing technologies.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
• Collect and analyze field failures and abnormalities, providing feedback to the development team.
• Help design engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems, driving future product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, plus 2 years of experience in a pre- and post-sales technical support position.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Basic proficiency in English and fluency in German (reading and writing).
• Must be based in Germany and willing to travel to potential conflict areas.

Nice to Have

• Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.
• Familiarity with Linux and proficiency with TCP/IP protocol.
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems and RF signal propagation.
• Exposure to programming languages such as C/C++.
