About the Role

We are seeking an Internal Events Manager to join our team at Paylocity, a leader in cloud-based HR and payroll solutions. This Internal Events Manager remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, providing flexibility while you oversee our internal events portfolio. You will play a crucial role in enhancing employee engagement and ensuring our events align with our strategic goals.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end process of internal event planning and execution, ensuring seamless delivery and measurable impact.
  • Oversee the internal events calendar, including AllHands, leadership summits, and employee engagement events.
  • Coordinate logistics for live events, including AV requirements, transportation, and staffing.
  • Develop and conduct site inspections and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead a team of 2-3 individuals, providing coaching and mentorship to foster their professional growth.
  • Establish KPIs for events and analyze performance to provide comprehensive reports for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align event objectives with broader business goals.
  • Travel up to 30% for onsite event management, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in internal corporate events and incentive program management.
  • 2+ years of team management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing corporate meetings and employee engagement programs.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple large programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with current event technology, including virtual platforms and attendee engagement tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in AV and technical production tools.
