Infrastructure Administrator - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Administrator remote to join our dynamic team at Northrop Grumman. As an Infrastructure Administrator remote, you will support and maintain critical infrastructure while enjoying the flexibility of relocation assistance.
What You'll Do
- Support and maintain storage in the primary data center and disaster recovery sites.
- Install, configure, manage, and maintain storage and backup systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.
- Manage storage solutions including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
- Perform regular data backups and recovery operations.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Must have a Security+ certification (or greater).
- Must possess a DOD Secret level security clearance.
- Experience with storage technologies such as SAN and NAS.
- Understanding of data protection and disaster recovery principles.
- Experience with VMware vSphere including ESXi, vCenter, and Vsan.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Experience supporting Dell and NetApp storage appliances.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
- Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR access.
- 7 years of Storage Administration experience.
- Relevant certification in areas such as CompTIA Storage+, VMware Certified Professional.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python).
