HR Specialist - Benelux (Dutch Speaker) Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist - Benelux (Dutch Speaker) remote to join our dynamic team at Globalization Partners. As an HR Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' HR needs in the Benelux region while working remotely. Your expertise will help shape the employee experience and ensure compliance with local labor laws.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations to ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience.
• Manage sensitive employee relations cases, attend calls or meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Be the first point of contact for client queries on benefits, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Stay ahead of labor laws and cultural nuances in the Benelux region to provide actionable guidance.
• Review and advise on employment contracts and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide clients through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and ensure timely salary changes.
• Act as the single point of contact for employees’ immigration and mobility needs in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.
• Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline HR processes.
• Lead efforts to standardize and improve HR practices globally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR experience, with knowledge of the Employer of Record (EoR) industry being desirable.
• Fluency in English and Dutch, with a basic understanding of French being a bonus.
• Deep expertise in Benelux labor laws and strong working knowledge of employment regulations in Europe.
• Experience supporting complex employee relations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Tech-savvy with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and collaboration tools like Zoom & Slack.
