About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Recruiting Intern - Remote to join our team at Continental. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of human resources while working remotely. You will assist in sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and enhancing recruitment strategies, all while developing valuable skills in the HR domain.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in sourcing and screening resumes, conducting initial phone screenings to identify suitable candidates for various positions.
  • Support the coordination of interviews and assessments, ensuring a smooth process for both candidates and interviewers.
  • Write and post job descriptions on various platforms to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
  • Conduct research on recruitment trends and best practices to enhance our strategies.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Participate in recruitment events and career fairs to promote our internship programs.
  • Assist in maintaining internship programs and support strategic events aimed at retaining employees.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8.
  • Available to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Able to commute to Fairlawn HQ 3 days/week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a recruitment or HR role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of social media recruitment strategies.
