HR Payroll Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Payroll Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This HR Payroll Coordinator remote position is primarily responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Payroll function. You will assist with payroll processing, employee data maintenance, and reporting within ADP Workforce Now.

What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting and verifying timekeeping data, calculating wages, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintenance in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Keep employee profiles, job changes, pay rates, paid time-off, unpaid time off, and employment statuses up to date.
  • Run standard and ad hoc payroll reports.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and data validation efforts.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
  • Administer payroll adjustments including overpayments, garnishments, and unemployment claims.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and respond promptly to employee payroll and tax inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience handling payroll for 300–500+ employees, including multi-state payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and related compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas, VLOOKUP’s) and strong skills in other MS Office applications.

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese is a plus.
