HR Manager - Hybrid Role in Education Catering
About the Role
We’re hiring an HR Manager to join our team at Caterlink, a leader in education sector catering. This HR Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to advance their career in human resources while working in a hybrid environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations Directors and their teams, becoming a trusted partner in all aspects of people management.
What You'll Do
- Support Operations Directors with employee relations cases, performance management, and long-term sickness.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and advice to managers and staff.
- Manage TUPE processes, restructures, and absence management.
- Lead recruitment efforts for manager-level roles and champion training and apprenticeships.
- Build strong relationships with managers and influence decision-making in HR matters.
- Represent HR in regular meetings and HR clinics, ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and obtain enhanced DBS disclosures.
Requirements
- Proven HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- CIPD qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A passion for supporting managers and teams in achieving their HR goals.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TUPE processes and absence management.
- Knowledge of training and apprenticeship programs.
- Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.
