HR Generalist / HR Business Partner - Remote Option
About the Role
We are seeking an HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients in the food retail sector across the Southwest Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate regions. As part of the EDEKA Group, you will be at the center of our operations, working with over 1,000 employees and serving around 8,000 clients nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted HR advisor for our clients in the food retail industry, providing support and guidance to entrepreneurs and managers.
- Enhance our HR services and consulting offerings with your innovative ideas and actively contribute to their development.
- Implement and manage projects related to recruiting, leadership, and employee satisfaction.
- Conduct process optimizations independently and sustainably.
- Collaborate closely with our HR administrators and serve as a link to other HR generalists and our headquarters.
- Engage actively in operational HR administration, document creation, employee communication, and workforce planning.
- Participate in regular local travel to our branches and clients in Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources or equivalent.
- Relevant professional experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar roles.
- Industry knowledge in food retail is essential.
- Experience in consulting or HR process consulting is preferred.
- Strong communication, consulting, and organizational skills.
- Innovative mindset, IT affinity, and enthusiasm for building HR processes.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Project management experience and a desire for continuous learning.
Nice to Have
- Experience with digital HR tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Germany.
- Fluency in additional languages.
