Hotel Duty Manager - Seasonal Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Hotel Duty Manager to join our team remotely at Merlin Entertainments. As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Warwick Castle Lodges, Glamping, and Hotel operations. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant team and provide exceptional guest experiences in a unique setting.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments work harmoniously.
• Communicate effectively with the reception team to uphold the vision of the Accommodation Team.
• Handle guest complaints, compliments, and inquiries, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Warwick Castle, its services, and ongoing promotions.
• Lead and mentor a team of receptionists, restaurant staff, and concierge hosts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and procedures.
• Control shift operations, including AM and PM shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Provide ongoing training and support to team members.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a leadership role within hospitality, particularly in hotel management.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

Nice to Have

• Experience in managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of hospitality software systems.
