High-Performance Systems Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a High-Performance Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a High-Performance Systems Engineer remote, you will have the opportunity to review production-grade code and evaluate AI outputs across various programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, and C++. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

What You'll Do

• Conduct code quality assessments to ensure production readiness of AI-generated full stack code.
• Evaluate maintainability, scalability, and adherence to real-world engineering standards.
• Rank solutions across multiple programming languages and provide expert feedback on collaborative coding practices.
• Create and answer questions on software engineering best practices and document debugging strategies.
• Analyze code quality across full stack development scenarios and evaluate Git workflows, including branching and merging strategies.
• Generate training data for advanced coding AI capabilities to improve model performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in at least 2 programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, or C++.
• Experience in building and shipping production software.
• Strong knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and collaboration.
• Excellent technical communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in backend engineering and server-side scaling.
• Familiarity with TDD using frameworks like PyTest, JUnit, or Mocha.
• Experience in technical specification and API contract authoring.
• Ability to conduct code reviews, complex debugging, and large codebase analysis.
• Startup founding or early employee experience is a plus.
