Health Underwriter - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Health Underwriter to join our team remotely at Groupe APICIL. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing and technical follow-up of a portfolio of health and welfare products, ensuring that our offerings are competitive and aligned with market standards. As a Health Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to providing quality insurance solutions.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and price specifications submitted for health and welfare products.
• Design technical projects that include pricing and underwriting conditions in compliance with company policies.
• Draft technical clauses tailored to specific products, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Communicate pricing proposals and technical conditions to distribution networks effectively.
• Support pricing proposals with a consultative approach regarding legal, social, and fiscal environments.
• Participate in the creation of new insurance offers and ensure product implementation in collaboration with various customer service departments.
• Prepare necessary presentations and summaries for risk governance committees.
• Independently manage the technical follow-up of a portfolio of accounts, producing and analyzing technical results.

Requirements

• Master's degree (BAC +5) in statistics or a specialized insurance field.
• Previous experience in pricing and portfolio management in health and welfare insurance.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with market pricing tools such as POP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and proactive with a professional attitude.

Nice to Have

• Experience in statistical analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of client account management.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in health insurance.
