Head of Sales - Cybersecurity Solutions
About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Sales - Cybersecurity Solutions to lead our sales team in Madrid. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base in the cybersecurity sector. As the Head of Sales, you will report directly to the COO and manage a small, high-performing team. Your mission will be to achieve and exceed revenue targets while maintaining a strong focus on client relationships and team productivity.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the annual sales strategy in collaboration with the COO, focusing on priority verticals, ideal customer profiles, pricing, and distribution channels.
- Manage and grow a team of four senior sales professionals, providing weekly coaching, setting quarterly objectives, and reviewing sales pipelines.
- Maintain a personal high-value pipeline, expected to close 20-30% of the team’s annual revenue.
- Lead complex sales processes including discovery, risk assessment, and negotiations with C-level executives.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with decision-makers such as CISO, CIO, and CEO within client organizations.
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators such as win rates, average deal size, and sales cycle length.
- Participate actively in pricing strategies, strategic discounts, and commission structures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in B2B sales of complex technology solutions.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience selling cybersecurity solutions (endpoint, network security, cloud security, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading small to medium-sized sales teams (3-8 people).
- Consistent history of exceeding sales targets over the last 3-4 years (ideally +120-150% quota attainment).
- Deep knowledge of the Spanish cybersecurity market, including regulations and key verticals.
- Willingness to travel within Spain approximately 30-40% of the time.
