What You'll Do

  • Mentor and lead individuals within the AM/EK-A Organization.
  • Provide leadership for department and personnel issues.
  • Define headcount requirements and interview candidates to build a functional, value-added North America Purchasing group.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control procurement activities.
  • Manage all aspects of Buyers and Supplier Quality roles, including target setting and program management.
  • Monitor North America procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
  • Ensure Buyers maintain a supply base that provides high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • Support overall sourcing activities within the North American market in alignment with global strategies.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in cost analysis and price benchmarking.
  • Ability to conduct feasibility assessments.
