About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Marketplaces to lead our Amazon-focused initiatives in a fully remote capacity. As the Head of Marketplaces, you will be responsible for driving our marketplace strategy and operations, ensuring that we continue to grow and reach our customers effectively. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our marketplace activities and directly influences our revenue and growth.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the marketplace strategy with a focus on Amazon, defining goals and measures to increase revenue, visibility, and profitability.
  • Lead and develop your team, creating clear structures and a motivating work environment that promotes accountability and professional growth.
  • Manage all operational processes on marketplaces, from product listings to inventory management, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Define relevant KPIs and oversee the performance of the entire marketplace area, including planning and optimizing PPC campaigns through Amazon Ads.
  • Analyze market, competition, and algorithm changes to derive strategies and improve conversion, visibility, and customer retention.
  • Ensure account health and manage complex cases, developing preventive measures to minimize risks.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, Purchasing, Brand, and Fulfillment, as well as external partners and agencies.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Amazon Marketplace management, particularly in the Seller Central environment.
  • Proven leadership experience or clear leadership qualities.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Ads, and relevant analysis and optimization tools.
  • Ability to develop strategies and implement them operationally.
  • Understanding of the connections between marketplace, supply chain, product, and marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in increasing revenue, conversion, and visibility.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with KPIs and interpret complex data.
  • Fluent in German; English skills are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the dietary supplements or FMCG sector.
