About the Role

TextNow is seeking a Head of Lifecycle Marketing - Remote to spearhead our customer lifecycle strategy. This role is pivotal in enhancing engagement, retention, and sustainable revenue growth while ensuring a high-quality customer experience. As the largest provider of free phone services in the nation, we are committed to breaking down barriers to communication and fostering a more connected world.

What You'll Do

  • Own lifecycle KPIs including activation, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Define and execute a lifecycle roadmap aligned with company and marketing OKRs.
  • Redesign onboarding processes to improve clarity, trust, and early habit formation.
  • Develop a scalable segmentation framework rooted in lifecycle stages and behavioral signals.
  • Create and manage a disciplined lifecycle experimentation roadmap.
  • Lead lifecycle strategy across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Drive testing across messaging, offers, and segmentation to optimize performance.
  • Measure incremental impact and oversee lifecycle platform architecture.
  • Build and scale lifecycle strategies in a high-growth environment.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to align around shared growth goals.

Requirements

  • 10 to 12+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing.
  • Proven leadership in scaling lifecycle strategies in consumer or app-first businesses.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in cohort analysis and performance modeling.
  • Experience with lifecycle infrastructure and marketing systems design.
  • Ability to build high-performing teams with operational discipline.
  • Comfortable with executive visibility and accountability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in telecommunications or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with advanced marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of user experience design principles.
