About the Role

We're hiring a Lead Test Engineer to join our innovative team at Medefer, a remote position focused on transforming healthcare delivery. As a Lead Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our virtual outpatient services. Your expertise in test automation will help us provide patients with timely, efficient, and effective healthcare experiences.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the automated testing capability, enhancing our testing processes.
• Expand and evolve testing coverage and reliability across our systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and QA colleagues to integrate automation into delivery workflows.
• Mentor manual QA testers transitioning to automation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive improvements across the quality approach, ensuring high standards in our services.
• Create and maintain documentation and standards for testing practices.
• Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer, contributing to strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in test automation, with a strong understanding of testing strategies across UI and APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Comfortable working with .NET and JavaScript-based systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts effectively.
• Experience in coaching or leading QA functions is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with healthcare technology and regulations.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of security testing practices.
