Head of Compliance - Remote Role in FinTech

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Head of Compliance to join our team at Crypto.com. This remote position will allow you to lead our compliance efforts across Europe, ensuring that we meet all regulatory requirements in the fast-paced fintech and digital asset landscape.

What You'll Do

• Lead the compliance strategy, positioning Crypto.com as a trusted innovator in global digital finance.
• Oversee the compliance function across key EU regulations such as MiCA, EMI, and DORA.
• Drive automation through RegTech and AI-enabled controls to enhance monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to embed compliance by design in workflows.
• Provide the Executive Committee and Board with timely, data-driven compliance reports.
• Act as the primary contact for regulators, leading inspections and policy reviews.
• Conduct GAP analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and implement action plans.
• Manage internal compliance operational controls and carry out independent reviews.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within fintech or payments.
• In-depth knowledge of EU regulatory regimes including MiCA, EMIR, and AMLD 6.
• Ability to distill important information from regulatory guidance and determine its impact on the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proven track record of leading multi-jurisdictional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic thinker fluent in regulatory language and technology transformation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with RegTech solutions.
• Familiarity with compliance training programs.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a compliance team.
