About the Role

We are seeking a Group Lead Welding Technology to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead the welding technology department, overseeing welding planning and supervision while ensuring high-quality standards in our operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the welding technology department, managing tasks related to qualification of welding procedures and welder qualifications.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments on welding-related issues.
  • Actively participate in welding improvement projects, focusing on mechanization and automation solutions.
  • Analyze welding error statistics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and coordinate training programs for welding personnel.
  • Engage in expert committees and standardization bodies related to welding technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with additional training as a Welding Engineer.
  • Several years of experience in welding technology, preferably in pressure vessel construction.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes for aluminum and stainless steel materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations for pressure vessels and pipelines (especially ASME and EN standards).
  • Excellent analytical skills and a systematic approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
