About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Software Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

• Design and implement software solutions that integrate hardware functionalities using Python.
• Develop and maintain embedded systems and interfaces, including UART, SPI, and I²C.
• Utilize CI/CD practices with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions for efficient software deployment.
• Conduct unit and system-level testing to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience in software integration.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with C++ programming.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) languages like SysML/UML.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
