About the Role

Join Rooted Hospitality Group as a Greeter/Host in this exciting remote hospitality role! As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create memorable dining experiences that set the tone for their visit. Your warm personality and exceptional service will make every guest feel valued and welcomed.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome & Engage: Greet every guest with genuine warmth, engaging in friendly conversation while seating them promptly.
  • Coordinate the Experience: Manage the restaurant waitlist during peak times to set accurate guest expectations.
  • Communicate & Collaborate: Maintain clear communication with team members and managers to ensure efficient table use and guest seating.
  • Reset & Refresh: Ensure vacant tables are sanitized and reset promptly to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
  • Express Gratitude: Thank each guest as they leave, making them feel appreciated and encouraging their return.
  • Be Prepared: Complete opening and closing duties to set the stage for an exceptional service experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (12 kg) and maintain a reasonable range of motion (bending, stooping, standing, and walking).
