Global IT Support Project Manager - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Join us as a Global IT Support Project Manager in this exciting remote opportunity! We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in international environments and enjoys driving complex IT initiatives from idea to delivery. As a Global Project Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of impactful, cross-regional IT projects, ensuring predictable delivery and strong governance.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, quality, and governance are met.
- Establish and maintain project governance, including status reporting, risk and issue management, and documentation.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures, acting as a trusted partner to sponsors and business representatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional IT teams and vendors to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up with transparency and control.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and change requests, implementing mitigation actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and supporting project management standards within IT Support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager with delivery of complex, cross-country projects.
- Experience from IT environments; deep technical expertise is not required, but a strong IT understanding is essential.
- Proven ability to manage projects with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and an empathetic, mature stakeholder approach.
- A structured, proactive, and results-oriented working style.
- Experience working with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile); certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles or IT service environments is considered a plus.
