What You'll Do

• Conduct routine laboratory and field tests on soil and construction materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Perform calculations and data analysis to support project specifications and quality control.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine calibrations to ensure accurate results.
• Document and report findings in accordance with Earth Systems' protocols.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a geotechnical environment.
• High School Diploma required; B.S. in Geology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and strong analytical skills.
• Nuclear gauge certification and ICC Soils Special Inspector certification required.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Nice to Have

• ACI certifications in various testing methods.
• NICET certifications in Construction Materials Testing.
• Experience with Caltrans certifications.
