About the Role

We are looking for a talented Back-End Engineer to join our team at Ingenio. This Back-End Engineer remote position offers you the chance to work with a passionate team dedicated to improving lives through technology. What You'll Do

• Develop new features and automated tests to ensure the highest quality of our software.
• Optimize code and database performance for better efficiency.
• Integrate with popular third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
• Strong background in software development and object-oriented design.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with AWS or Heroku for deployment.
• Proficient in Git for version control.
• A passion for writing clean, efficient code.
• A good sense of humor and a collaborative spirit.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
