Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Days

About the Role

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marshalls, a leading manufacturer in the hard landscaping industry. This Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer remote position offers a competitive salary of up to £46,696 plus benefits. You will work 42 hours a week, Monday to Friday, ensuring the continuous operation of our production processes.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through effective fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
• Work on various types of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
• Carry out planned and reactive engineering activities on site.
• Communicate effectively with operatives and team leaders from both maintenance and production.
• Utilize your knowledge of PLC and VSD systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Apprentice trained with recognized Mechanical or Electrical qualifications.
• Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues.
• Experience in maintenance of plant and equipment, including mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficient in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide accurate plant condition information.
