Future Talent - Automation Engineer (Remote)
About the Role
Join Tetra Pak as a Future Talent - Automation Engineer (Remote) and embark on a journey to make food safe and available everywhere. In this role, you will develop your leadership skills and gain broad business knowledge in a truly international environment. The Future Talent Programme is a 1.5-year initiative designed to challenge and grow your skills while delivering results from day one.
What You'll Do
- Design electrical hardware, including schematics and layouts, and select electrical components.
- Analyze, design, and develop new PLC programs and host computer programs using Siemens Portal and Step7 software.
- Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot systems in the workshop.
- Prepare production documents, manuals, and related documentation.
- Participate in the digitalization and intelligent upgrading of factory projects.
- Lead or participate in AI applications within the factory.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree in automation, electrical automation, mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience is acceptable.
- Experience with AI industrial projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical and automation principles and a good foundation in object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, C, C++, VB, etc.).
- Understanding of AI development frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for technical work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Who Will Succeed Here
Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly with Siemens or Allen-Bradley systems, and a solid understanding of electrical schematics to design automation solutions.

A foundational knowledge of Python and C++ for scripting and automation tasks, coupled with a willingness to learn and apply TensorFlow for AI-driven automation projects within the food technology sector.
