Full-Time Graphic Design Faculty Position - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce a Full-Time Graphic Design Faculty Position, offering a unique opportunity to teach and inspire students in the field of graphic design. This position is based in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley in western Colorado, a region renowned for its outdoor activities and stunning mountain scenery. As a Graphic Design Faculty member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students while working collaboratively with a dynamic team at the Isaacson School.

What You'll Do

• Teach a 30-credit hour course load annually, focusing on graphic design and related disciplines.
• Evaluate courses and assess student learning outcomes to ensure academic excellence.
• Engage in curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies that incorporate technology and emerging media.
• Collaborate with industry partners and organizations such as The Aspen Institute and X-Games to enhance student learning experiences.
• Support diverse student populations through inclusive teaching practices and project-based learning.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, including one year of full-time teaching experience.
• Strong technical mastery of industry-standard software, particularly the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum development.
• Commitment to working effectively with students and community members from diverse backgrounds.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities are preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in teaching online, hybrid, and asynchronous courses.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in graphic design, including AR/VR and motion graphics.
• Active participation in scholarly and creative activities that enhance discipline expertise.
