What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain applications primarily in Java, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in an agile environment.
• Support integration, testing, deployment, and operational defect resolutions in our secure facility.
• Propose and implement improvements in technology, process, architecture, or tooling.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on Java.
• Experience with containerized architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required at the time of application.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar data streaming tools.
• Prior development experience within the US Space Industry.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present technical information.
