Fuel Supply Manager - Remote Opportunity in Energy from Waste

About the Role

We are seeking a Fuel Supply Manager to join our team at Encyclis, focusing on energy recovery from waste. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while managing fuel supply contracts across our facilities in the Midlands. As a Fuel Supply Manager remote, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of our operations.

What You'll Do

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day obligations under Fuel Supply Agreements.
• Undertake procurement, negotiation, and management of fuel supply contracts.
• Oversee delivery scheduling in line with operational demand and market dynamics.
• Ensure fuel quality through sampling, supplier site inspections, and audits.
• Prepare Environment Agency declarations and support tender documentation.
• Conduct financial reviews, forecasts, and reconciliations monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure contract compliance and operational success.
• Engage in project work related to fuel quality improvement and alternative waste market assessments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a contract management role within the waste sector.
• Strong business acumen with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the industry.
• Understanding of the UK waste market and relevant policies.
• Degree level education or equivalent.
• Full UK driver's license.

• Experience managing complex legal contracts.
• Familiarity with EfW fuel supply chain structures.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
