Fluid Engineering Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Fluid Engineering Intern to join our team at LFB. This remote opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in fluid engineering while contributing to our technical services department. As a Fluid Engineering Intern, you will develop your skills in managing technical maintenance projects, ensuring the reliability of various equipment, and collaborating with a diverse team.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the management of technical maintenance projects, including equipment revamping and complex improvement tasks.
• Participate in technical expertise for problem resolution, maintenance interventions, and technical shutdown preparations.
• Assist in investment projects within your area of expertise, focusing on maintainability and standardization of new equipment.
• Collaborate with operational experts to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Support the management of deviations and corrective actions, ensuring timely execution and data collection.
• Analyze equipment performance and availability, proposing maintenance improvements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an engineering degree or Master's in industrial engineering, fluid mechanics, energy, electrical engineering/automation, or equivalent.
• Ideally, have some prior experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong communication skills, autonomy, and a sense of responsibility.
• Ability to propose solutions and make decisions effectively.
• Collaborative spirit and good writing skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with air treatment systems, refrigeration units, and thermal regulation equipment.
• Familiarity with utility circuits and water/steam production processes.
