Financial Institutions Coverage Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Institutions Coverage Intern to join our dynamic team at ING. This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector, particularly in the realm of institutional banking. As a Financial Institutions Coverage Intern, you will support the team in maintaining and updating KYC compliance for our client portfolio across Europe and internationally, while engaging with various product teams and compliance departments.

What You'll Do

• Assist in maintaining and updating KYC compliance for the client portfolio, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Analyze ongoing transactions and review performance metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Collaborate with credit risk departments to assess credit ratings and conduct annual reviews of commitments.
• Support ad-hoc projects including presentations, research, and analysis for the Coverage FI team.
• Engage with multicultural teams across different regions to understand the dynamics of institutional banking.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in banking or finance is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
