Assistant Visual Manager - Retail Experience (Remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Visual Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving the Anthropologie mission of creating an 'unimagined store experience' by fostering a culture of creativity and inspiration among both the store team and customers. As an Assistant Visual Manager, you will support the Store Manager in achieving strategic goals while ensuring that all visual merchandising reflects brand standards and enhances the customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations, leading and developing a team to achieve sales targets.
- Attend daily meetings and collaborate with the Store Manager to share inspiration and new ideas with the store team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and cultivate a positive team culture.
- Assist with training, scheduling, and development of the team, conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform commercial decisions.
- Design and implement visually compelling displays and floor layouts that align with seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain in-store visual standards, ensuring product presentation is consistent and appealing.
Requirements
- Proven track record of driving sales through excellent visual presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience in retail management with creative interests or a background in fashion, art, or music.
- Willingness to travel and support new store openings and projects.
- Ability to identify barriers to customer service and implement creative solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience in visual merchandising and brand presentation.
- Knowledge of retail KPIs and how to drive them effectively.
- Creative background in design or visual arts.
