About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Management Intern to join our team remotely at John Cockerill. As a Facility Management Intern, you will play a vital role in managing the work environment for our employees, ensuring a productive and efficient workspace. This is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a Bac+2/3 in management or related fields.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the management of service operations, including creating purchase requests and tracking invoices.
  • Coordinate with various service providers and manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Handle the reservation and maintenance of company vehicles, including scheduling repairs and follow-ups.
  • Develop prevention plans and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Organize and manage documentation, including sorting, writing, sending, and tracking various documents.
  • Represent the General Services department during internal events, such as onboarding new employees.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring activity ratios and benchmarking service solutions for our future headquarters.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • A valid driver's license (Permis B) is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and respond proactively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Autonomy and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bac+2/3 program in management, business administration, or real estate.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in facility management or related fields.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
