About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Backend Developer to join our team at Uplers, working on an AI-powered conversational support platform. This Backend Developer remote position offers you the chance to contribute to a cutting-edge product that enhances customer and employee interactions through platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop efficient, clean, and reusable features, libraries, and components for our AI platform.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and foster knowledge sharing among team members.
• Engage in discussions on software design and contribute to key technology decisions.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and testing strategies to enhance product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with team members on various development tasks and projects, adapting to new frameworks and languages as necessary.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• A genuine interest in backend development and eagerness to engage with all aspects of SaaS platform development.
• Experience with or willingness to learn about various storage backends like PostgreSQL and Redis.
• A proactive approach to code writing, reading, and review.
• An agile mindset, with the capacity to prioritize and make decisive product decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript and Sequelize is viewed favorably.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and Salesforce.
• A background in AI technologies and their application in customer support.
