Platform Experience Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Platform Experience Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will help us build the experience layer powering over 40 enterprise platforms, making thousands of engineers happier every day. You will work on creating a unified Platform Experience layer that provides developers and data teams with an intuitive, self-service way to engage with various internal platforms. This role is an exciting opportunity to simplify complexity, improve developer workflows, and craft experiences that feel smooth and reliable.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to building core platform experiences by developing modular interfaces, clear onboarding flows, and intuitive access patterns.
• Support the design and implementation of self-service experiences that simplify provisioning, access, and integration tasks for internal teams.
• Work with platform owners across a wide range of technologies to create scalable patterns and reduce duplication.
• Contribute to dashboards and telemetry views that help users understand platform health and status.
• Explore opportunities to enhance experiences with AI-driven guidance and contextual help.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product partners to gather feedback and iterate quickly.
• Grow your skills in UX, security, and systems thinking while developing stronger experience-design skills.

Requirements

• A solid engineering foundation with interest or experience in platform engineering, developer tooling, or internal platforms.
• A mindset focused on usability, clarity, simplification, and thoughtful systems design.
• Experience with modern Platform Engineering and DevOps practices.
• Good communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience building internal tools, workflows, APIs, or developer-facing features.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to integration, data, or governance platforms.
• Familiarity with schema-driven UI or reusable design systems.
• Curiosity about applying AI/ML to assistive or workflow experiences.
