About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at nology. This remote position is perfect for recent tech bootcamp graduates or STEM graduates with less than a year of experience in software development. What You'll Do

• Support the development and maintenance of software applications.
• Work across backend components and interact with databases.
• Apply best practices in coding, testing, and overall software quality.
• Collaborate with team members in an agile or collaborative environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with support from more experienced developers.

Requirements

• Graduated from a coding bootcamp or have a STEM degree in fields such as Computer Science, Economics, or Physics.
• Some experience with Java development (academic, commercial, or personal projects).
• Familiarity or willingness to learn AWS cloud services.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Open to relocation as this role requires being onsite.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern technologies such as Java, SQL, Python, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
